With Brite, consumers pay directly through their own banking environment, without card details or separate accounts.

2. Participating Banks

Brite uses open banking connections and supports payments via a large number of European banks. In the Netherlands, the following banks are among those connected:

  • ABN AMRO
  • ING
  • Rabobank
  • SNS Bank
  • ASN Bank
  • RegioBank
  • Knab
  • bunq

In addition, Brite supports a growing number of banks in other European countries. Availability is automatically determined based on the consumer's bank.

3. Payment & Activation

A customer pays with Brite by selecting their bank and confirming the payment in their trusted banking environment. Once the payment is authorized, PAY. calls the exchangeUrl of your webshop system and we set the order directly to Paid; the amount appears almost immediately in your account balance.

Activation
  1. Log in to the Admin Panel and go to Manage → Sales Locations.
  2. At the desired location, click Change.
  3. Scroll to Payment Options and select Brite.
  4. Click again on Change at the bottom. The payment option is immediately active.

4. Frequently Asked Questions

How does my client pay with Brite? The customer chooses Brite, selects their bank, and confirms the payment in their own online banking environment. The payment is real-time.
Does my client need an account? No. The payment is processed entirely through the consumer's existing banking environment.
Do I need a separate Brite contract? No. PAY. handles the connection; you simply activate Brite in the Admin Panel.
Can I get a refund for a Brite payment? Yes. Full, partial, or multiple via Transactions → Refund .
Are chargebacks possible? No. Brite payments are final after authorization.
Which currency is supported? Euro (EUR).
Is Brite suitable for international customers? Yes. Brite supports multiple European countries via open banking.
