Connecting your PAX terminals to Wi-Fi (en)

Step-by-step instructions for connecting your payment terminal to a Wi-Fi network

To connect your PAX payment terminal to a Wi-Fi network, follow the steps below. Make sure you use a secure Wi-Fi network.

The terminal can also use a 4G connection if a SIM card is installed.

  1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick settings menu.
  2. Tap the Wi-Fi icon.
  3. Turn Wi-Fi ON by moving the switch to the right.
  4. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
  5. Enter the Wi-Fi password.
  6. Tap CONNECT.
  7. Wait while the terminal connects to the network.
  8. Once connected, the terminal will automatically obtain an IP address.

Via Settings
You can also configure Wi-Fi through the Settings menu on the terminal. When opening the Settings menu, you will be asked for a password. Enter 000000 to access the settings. From there, go to the Wi-Fi settings, enable Wi-Fi and select the desired network.
