If you have questions about Almapay or how to offer this payment method in your webshop. For specific questions about an order placed via Almapay, you can ask your customers to contact support via email at support@getalma.eu. As a Merchant, you can manage everything from your Almapay admin portal.

4. Activation
AlmaPAY operates through a gateway integration. The merchant must therefore enter into a separate contract with AlmaPAY. The merchant negotiates the rates directly with AlmaPAY. Once the contract has been concluded, AlmaPAY provides Pay. with the agreed rates.
The merchant can contact Gildas du Retail at gildas.du-retail@almapay.com.
The merchant must provide the following information:

- Expected Alma volume:
- Does the customer already have an Alma account? (YES/NO):
- Webshop:
Once the merchant has concluded the contract with AlmaPAY, AlmaPAY shares the agreed rates with Pay. via support@pay.nl.
The merchant must also provide the API credentials to Pay. These credentials are available through the Alma dashboard. AlmaPAY does not provide these credentials to Pay. because they are confidential.
Pay. then enters the rates and API credentials for the relevant merchant in the back office.
Once AlmaPAY has been activated in the Pay. admin panel, the merchant can use the payment method. Pay. then performs a test transaction. After a successful test transaction, the merchant can start processing AlmaPAY payments.
5. Credit Check
AlmaPAY's algorithm manages the risk. If necessary, we can also use a credit bureau (or external database) to supplement the scoring. After approval, AlmaPAY takes over the full credit risk.
