EPS Überweisung (Electronic Payment Standard) is a payment method that can be compared to the Dutch iDEAL.
The payment method was set up in 2001 by Austrian banks and is intended specifically to attract Austrian consumers. EPS Überweisung currently has more than 2.5 million Austrian card and account holders.
EPS Überweisung is a guaranteed online bank transfer. This means the payment can be tracked in real time and the funds are collected guaranteed and immediately.
2. Activation and Payout
When your customer chooses to pay via EPS Überweisung and selects one of the Austrian banks, our technology redirects the customer to their own bank's payment screen. There, the customer completes the payment following the usual online banking steps. As soon as a payment succeeds (or fails), you will find this reflected in the management system. This allows you to deliver your products quickly.
Activation
With the (free) ready-made plugins from PAY., you can add EPS Überweisung to your website or webshop simply and quickly. You can download the plugins via our Admin Panel. Go to ''manage''. Then click on services and then on ''change service''. Scroll to payment options and select EPS Überweisung. Then click on ''change''. Within 24 hours you can start using this option.
EPS Überweisung is also easy to download for various popular systems such as Magento, OpenCart, WooCommerce, and more. If you want more flexibility, you can get started with our advanced APIs. With the APIs, the payment method can easily be retrieved via our SDK or Transaction API.
