Find the Acquiris ID (TID) of your payment terminal (en)

With this guide, you can find the Acquiris ID (Terminal ID / TID) of your payment terminal. You need this ID to activate external contracts such as Monizze, Edenred, and Pluxee.

To accept certain payment methods such as meal vouchers and eco vouchers, you must connect your payment terminal to external parties such as Monizze, Edenred, and Pluxee.
For this connection, a specific identification number is required: the Acquiris ID, also known as the Terminal ID (TID).

This number ensures that transactions are processed correctly and linked to the correct terminal and contracts. Depending on the type of terminal you use, this ID can be found in different ways.

With this guide, we will help you step by step to find the correct TID so you can activate external contracts without any issues.

What is the Acquiris ID?

Het Acquiris ID:

  • Consists of 8 characters
  • Contains both letters and numbers
  • Example: 2A076220
  • Is used as the Terminal ID (TID) with external parties (such as Monizze, Edenred, and Pluxee)

❗ Note:  Only newer terminals have an Acquiris ID.

Find the Acquiris ID (new terminals)

Step 1:

  1.  Log in to the Pay dashboard
  2.  Navigate to:
    “Settings” → “Terminals”

Step 2:
Click on the terminal for which you want to find the ID.

Step 3:
In the detail window, you will see the field “Terminal ID”

  •  This is your Acquiris ID (TID)
  •  Example : 2A269288

⚠️    Important:

Do you not see a Terminal ID in the correct format (8 characters, for example 2A076220)?
Then your terminal does not have an Acquiris ID.

Codes such as CT123456, BS123456, or other 6-character combinations (letters/numbers) are not valid Acquiris TIDs.

In that case use the POI as an alternative and follow the steps below.

My terminal does not have an Acquiris ID

Do you not see a Terminal ID in the correct format? Then use the POI as an alternative.

Step 1:

  1.  Go to:
     “Settings” → "Terminals”
  2.  Check the “Description” column.
  3.  There you will find a value such as:
    POI 706495139

Step 2:

  •  Use only the numeric part of the POI
  •  Remove the first 0

Example:

  • POI/TMS: 706495139
  • TID: 76495139

External parties such as Monizze, Edenred, and Pluxee work with a TID of exactly 8 characters.

 By removing the first 0:

  •  you get the correct 8-digit TID
  •  the format matches what external parties expect
  •  you prevent errors when activating contracts

Note:  In some cases the POI already consists of 8 digits. This can occur with Worldline terminals. In that case, you do not need to remove a 0 and you can use the POI directly as the TID.

Activation of your contract

Have you requested a contract with Monizze, Edenred, or Pluxee? Then one final step is required before you can actually use these payment methods on your payment terminal.

Send the contract information to:

pin@pay.nl

Our support department will then link and activate the contract on your terminal.
