Mobilepay

 1. Information 

MobilePay is the mobile payment solution of the Danish banking sector and is supported by all major banks in Denmark and Finland.
Customers link their bank account to the MobilePay app and complete payments easily via a push notification. The amount appears almost instantly in your account balance.

2. Payment & Activation

A customer pays with MobilePay by entering their mobile number and confirming the payment in the app. PAY. then calls the exchangeUrl of your webshop and sets the order status to Paid; the amount appears almost instantly in your account balance.

Activation
  1. Log in to the Admin Panel and go to Manage → Sales Locations.
  2. At the desired location, click Edit.
  3. Scroll to Payment Options and check MobilePay.
  4. At the bottom, click Edit. The payment option is immediately active.

3. Frequently asked questions

How does MobilePay work for my customer? The customer enters their mobile number, receives a push notification, and confirms the payment in the app. The payment is real-time.
Do I need a separate MobilePay contract? No. PAY. concludes the acquiring contract; you simply activate MobilePay in the Admin Panel.
Can I refund a MobilePay payment? Yes. Full, partial, or multiple via Transactions → Refund .
Are chargebacks possible? No, MobilePay transactions are final. Disputes are handled through the consumer's bank.
Which currencies does MobilePay support? DKK and EUR, depending on the customer's country.
What are the limits for the consumer? Up to €1,000 per transaction, depending on the bank and account type.
Can I use MobilePay for subscriptions? Recurring billing (tokenized) is not yet supported.
Can I show MobilePay outside Denmark? Yes, provided the customer uses the MobilePay app and has a supported bank account.
