Enable POS Mode (Cloud Connect / Local Connect) (en)

POS Mode allows your cash register (ECR/POS system) to initiate payments directly on the PAY.POS app. Depending on your integration, you can use either Cloud Connect or Local Connect (Local ECR).

If you have not yet configured an Access Code, you will be prompted to create one before you can access the terminal settings.

Enable POS Mode

Follow the steps shown in the image below:

  

  1. Open the PAY.POS app.
  2. Tap the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Terminal Settings.
  4. Tap POS Mode.
  5. Enable the connection type required for your integration:
    • Cloud Connect – For cloud-based POS integrations.
    • Local Connect (Local ECR) – For integrations over your local network.

Once enabled, your terminal is ready to receive payment requests from your POS system.
