Payment methods - Paysafecard

1. Information

Paysafecard is the most popular online prepaid payment method in the world and is available in various values, namely €10, €25, €50 and €100. The card contains a unique 16-digit code that the customer can use to make a payment.

Paysafecard is known as an anonymous payment method. The payment method is mainly used to pay for digital services.

2. Activation

If you activate this payment option within your sales location, your file status is approved, and the sales location is linked to the correct category, this payment option is immediately active. A Paysafecard employee will then check whether your offering indeed complies with the rules set by Paysafecard.

Non-compliance email

If Paysafecard does not accept your offering, PAY. removes the payment option from your sales location. If you disagree with this rejection, you can contact Paysafecard.

Age verification

Age verification must be integrated whenever age verification is required for specific products or services. This is the case for, for example, tobacco products or gambling activities. For these products and services, the minimum user age must be observed.

URL, offering and description

Make sure you have entered the correct details for the sales location in PAY. Take plenty of time to describe your offering. We send this information, together with your application, to Paysafecard.

Business cases not permitted in the case of Paysafecard

The list below contains products or business models that are not supported by Paysafecard.

1. Paysafecard is not permitted as a payment option for:
1. Anonymization services;
2. Weapons and related products such as pistols, rifles, parts, ammunition, knives, etc.;
3. Illegal drugs and related items;
4. Prescription medicines and aids;
5. Tobacco products;
6. Products or services that infringe trademark rights, copyrights, privacy, data protection or any other property rights that fall under statutory provisions or have been established through case law;
7. Pyramid schemes, ponzi schemes or similar models;
8. Game bots; and
9. Cryptocurrency exchanges.
2. If the merchant offers games of chance, they must hold an official license from the relevant gambling authority in the country where they actively offer their services.

The business models and products mentioned above are taken from Paysafecard's acceptance policy. PAY. has no influence on Paysafecard's acceptance policy. If Paysafecard notifies PAY. that the payment method must be disabled, we carry out this request immediately and notify you accordingly.

3. Payout

Paysafecard transactions come in via Stichting Pay.nl and are paid out to you via a clearing process. There is no need to create an extra account or enter into an agreement with Paysafecard.
