SWISH
1. Information
Swish is the mobile payment solution of Sweden, with more than 8 million users out of a population of 10 million. Thanks to a direct link to the bank account, Swish is fast, secure and hugely popular – both among consumers and merchants.
The customer only needs to enter their phone number and confirms the payment in the Swish app. The payment appears almost immediately in your account balance.

2. Participating Banks
Swish is a collaboration between the Swedish central bank and nearly all major commercial banks in Sweden. Every bank customer can activate Swish via their mobile banking app. Supported banks include:

- Handelsbanken
- SEB
- Nordea
- Danske Bank
- Skandia
- Länsförsäkringar
- Sparbanken Syd
- ICA Banken
- Forex Bank
- And other regional and digital banks
3. Payment & Activation
A customer pays with Swish by entering their mobile number and confirming the payment in the Swish app. PAY. then calls the exchangeUrl and sets the order to Paid; the amount appears almost immediately in your account balance.
Activation
- Log in to the Admin Panel and go to Manage → Sales Locations.
- At the desired location, click Change.
- Scroll to Payment Options and select Swish.
- Click again on Change at the bottom.

| Do I need a separate Swish contract? | No. PAY. concludes the acquiring contract; you simply activate Swish in the Admin Panel. |

| Are chargebacks possible? | No, Swish transactions are final. Disputes are handled through the consumer's bank. |
| Which currencies does Swish support? | Only Swedish krona (SEK). |
| What are the limits for the consumer? | Standard limit €1,000/day, adjustable by the consumer themselves in the app or via the bank. |
| Is surcharging allowed? | No, passing on costs to Swish payments is not permitted. |
| Can I use Swish for subscriptions? | No, recurring payments are not yet supported. |
| Can I show Swish outside Sweden? | Yes, provided you accept SEK; the payer must have a Swedish bank account and the Swish app. |
