With the Tap to Pay (Pay.Pos) app, you can turn your iPhone into a fully functional payment terminal. This allows you to easily accept contactless payments, without any additional hardware. The software is designed to process payments quickly and securely, wherever you are.

Note: refunds and offline payments are not supported with the Tap to Pay app.

How do I set up Tap to Pay?

To use Pay.Pos, you first need to link the app to a sales location in the Pay. Admin Panel and complete activation in the app.

  1. Open the Pay.Pos app on your device.

    • An activation code will appear on the screen.

  2. Go to the Pay. Admin Panel.

  3. Log in with your merchant credentials.

  4. In the menu, go to Settings → Sales Locations.

  5. Select the correct sales location.

  6. Click on the S-icon with lines to activate Pay.Pos.

  7. A window will open where you enter the activation code, a name, and a description.

  8. In the Admin Panel, click Activate.

  9. In the Pay.Pos app, press Activate to complete the link.

After these steps, your device is fully ready for use.

 

 

 

What types of payments can I accept?

With Tap to Pay on iPhone, you can accept almost all forms of contactless payments. This means customers can pay with:

  • Contactless debit and credit cards

  • Apple Pay, on iPhone and Apple Watch

  • Other digital wallets, such as Google Pay or Samsung Pay

  • Contactless bank and credit cards

It doesn’t matter if a customer pays with a physical card, smartphone, or smartwatch: as long as it supports contactless, you can accept it.

 

 

 

Is it safe to accept payments via Tap to Pay?

Yes, Tap to Pay on iPhone is designed with the same security and privacy you know from Apple Pay.

  • No storage of sensitive data: Apple does not store card numbers or PIN information on your iPhone or Apple servers.
