The Donation Module (DONO Mode) (en)

Use DONO mode to collect donations. Configure three fixed amounts, a minimum free amount, and an optional thank-you message.

With DONO mode, you can easily use a device to collect donations. You can set up three predefined amounts, while also allowing customers to make a free donation with a minimum amount.

Activating DONO mode

  1. Open the Settings menu in the Pay.Pos app.

  2. Go to Terminal settings.

  3. Set an access code (if not already done). This is a 5-digit code.

    • Without an access code, DONO mode cannot be activated.

  4. Select the DONO mode.

  5. Click Start to switch the terminal into donation mode.

  • Define three standard amounts for customers to choose from.

  • Set a minimum amount for free donations.

  • Optionally add a thank-you message shown after a successful donation (default 5 seconds, adjustable).

In practice

In DONO mode, the donation screen allows customers to:

  • Select one of the three predefined amounts, or

  • Enter their own donation amount.
