Card Refunds on the C-TAP Terminal

When you have a physical point of sale alongside your webshop, such as a store or pickup point, you'll want your customers to be able to get a card refund too.

If you're a PAY. customer with a card payment contract and you have a C-TAP PIN terminal on which card refunds are (or can be) enabled, you can offer card refunds as a payment option to your customers. Always contact your checkout system supplier first to check whether card refunds are supported via PAY. You can request card refunds here.

The card refund payment option is available via PAY. for both credit and debit card transactions. See the table below for an overview:

Card Refunds on the C-TAP Terminal

A card refund, also known as "refunding", is a reversed card transaction. Your customer returns a purchase paid for by card to the store, and you complete the refund through your checkout system and PIN terminal.
