Online, customers can pay by choosing a gift card of their choice at checkout. They are then taken to the payment screen. Here they enter the (19-digit) card number together with the PIN code found on the back of the card under a scratch layer, or which was sent by email. Paying in the store is also easy: the gift cards contain a barcode that you can scan with the handheld scanner. If your customer wants to pay with a gift card, they only need to have the barcode scanned.
2. Payout
Gift card transactions come in via Stichting Pay.nl and are paid out to you via a clearing process. There is no need to create an extra account or enter into an agreement.
- To use the Fashioncheque payment method, you must sign an agreement. You can download this agreement in the Admin Panel once you have activated Fashioncheque as a payment method.
- To use the Webshop Giftcard payment method, you must have a Webshop Giftcard account.

3. Refunds
It is possible to refund the amount from PAY. back onto the Fashioncheque, GivaCard and Webshop Giftcard gift cards. This is possible up to 14 days after the original payment, and the gift card payment can only be refunded 100%. The balance is then refunded to the gift card. This does not apply to the Fashion Giftcard, Festivalcadeau, the Gezondheidsbon, the Nationale Bioscoopbon and the Podium Cadeaukaart.
It is not possible to refund the amount from PAY. back onto the Wijn Cadeau card. To carry out the refund, you must have the customer's IBAN details.
For Fashioncheque and YourGift Card, you can carry out multiple refunds per transaction. The maximum amount that can be refunded to an end user is 100% of the original order amount + €30.
External refund
From the Professional package onwards, it is also possible to create an external refund. This is not linked to the original transaction but appears as a separate refund in the Admin Panel. Naturally, you must have the IBAN number and the name of the account holder.
