The Swedish Trustly is an online payment method for bank transfers in Europe. More than 3.300 banks in 29 European countries support this online payment service. Trustly was founded in 2018 and is known as one of the safest payment methods on the market. It is a recognized and authorized payment service that is supervised by the Finansinspektionen, the Swedish financial regulatory authority.

3. Activation
To make a payment, your customer does not need to register with Trustly. With Trustly, your customers pay safely and quickly online without leaving your webshop. When your customer proceeds with a purchase and chooses Trustly, a pop-up screen appears with which the payment can be completed in a few clicks:
- At checkout, your customer selects Trustly as the payment method.
- Your customer then selects their own bank and the bank account they want to use to pay for the purchase. Within the trusted banking environment, the customer confirms their payment with an e-reader or QR code.
- The payment is processed, and your customer is redirected to the payment page of your webshop where they see whether the payment succeeded or failed.
4. Payout
Trustly transactions come in via Stichting PAY.nl and are paid out to you via clearing. There is no need to create an extra account or enter into an agreement with Trustly.
