How do I perform a CTMP?

If there is a change in your contract or the terminal software, the newest data or software must be uploaded to the payment terminal. By default, this happens automatically at night. If you need the update immediately, you can trigger it manually (“CTMP”).

  • Press the Menu button (back of the terminal)
  • Choose 3 – Terminal setup
  • Choose 0 – Next
  • Press 9 – Technician only
  • Enter Z-password: 1235789 + OK
  • Choose 5 – Maintenance
  • Choose 5 – CTMP request

DATA transfer

The terminal will send data to the management servers (XENTURION). Depending on the amount of logs and settings, this may take up to 5 minutes. Do not interrupt this process.

How do I perform a Parameterization?

To perform a parameterization on the PAY. terminal:

  • Press the Menu button (back of the terminal)
  • Press 4 – Payment Cards
  • Press 7 – Parameterization
  • Select the desired acquirer processor:
    1. EQUENS (for Maestro, VPAY, Mastercard Debit, Visa Debit)
    2. CCV PAY (if you process credit cards via PAY.)
  • Press OK to start

When successful, press OK to return. New contract data (e.g. enabling credit card acceptance) is now uploaded. Exit the menu by pressing STOP several times.

If the parameterization fails, please contact the PAY. Support desk by phone.

  3. Choose 0 – Technician only
  4. Enter Z-password: 1235789 + OK
