In the Netherlands, Direct Debit is a widely used payment method for recurring payments, but the payment method can also be executed as a one-time payment. Due to the possibility of processing payments at a predefined frequency, Direct Debit is also highly suitable for subscriptions and memberships.
One-time Direct Debit
With this form of Direct Debit, an amount is collected from your customer's bank account once. The customer is informed through a pre-notification and subsequently has 7 days to reject the Direct Debit.
Recurring Direct Debit
With this form, an amount is periodically collected from the customer's bank account. This can be, for example, once a month or once every quarter. This makes this form of Direct Debit particularly suitable for subscriptions.
If you only want to use one-time Direct Debit, you can use our Direct Debit payment page. You can easily activate this through your sales location.

Webshop Terms and Conditions
URL of the terms and conditions page on the relevant webshop. These will be displayed on the payment page. This must be a direct URL.
Payment bank info
Enter a maximum of 30 characters containing information. This can be a URL, customer service contact details, or an email address that will be displayed with the Direct Debit on the customer's bank statement. This helps prevent chargebacks.
3. Payout
The Direct Debits are received through Stichting Pay.nl and paid out to you through a clearing process. There is no need to create an additional account or request a Direct Debit contract through an external party.
4. Chargeback
Every customer has the right to request a chargeback. This means that your customer can reverse a Direct Debit within a certain period. This period is set at 56 days and applies to every bank within Europe. The debited amount will then be returned to the customer's bank account by the bank.
5. Not guaranteed, chargebacks (refund requests) and unauthorized direct debit claims may occur.
According to consumer protection laws and regulations, every Direct Debit transaction without a written mandate is considered an unauthorized debit. Therefore, customers are allowed to reverse Direct Debit transactions for a period of up to 13 months. This is called MOI, or Notification of Unauthorized Direct Debit (Melding Onterecht Incasso).
6. Paymentscreen

The displayed payment page only supports one-time Direct Debit payments. Recurring Direct Debits can be created manually through the Admin Panel or automated through the PAY. API / SDK.
